How it came about

I started to bake cakes because a friend said that she loves to eat Brazilian style cakes: sweet,  moist, and great looking. I also had another reason to make it happen. My 4-year old son loves to watch Cake Boss on TLC, and he was always asking for a cake. I already knew how to bake cakes, but I didn't  have a clue how to decorate them. So, I took the Wilton Cake Decorating Classes.
Today I create my own recipes and designs. I like to respect people's wishes for the cakes, but I also make suggestions on what could work better. My cakes are simple but tasty. Every time that I try something new, it becomes something special and great for me. This whole experience has given me pleasure, self esteem, and fulfillment.

Amor a Patria Brasil

This cake was made to welcome the Brazilian Consulate at Zion Christian Church in Troy, Michigan. The Brazilian Consulate was in town to provide consular services to the Brazilian community.

Dream Cupcakes

These were my first cupcakes. I had a lot of fun making them.  The theme was pink and brown, so I tried to bring the wonderland theme and taste to these cupcakes. It was a passion fruit cake with a cream cheese and dark chocolate icing. The cupcakes were decorated with  flowers and butterflies made with fondant and a little sugar for added sparkle.
